Mike moved to the Okanagan Valley in 1992 with his wife Barbara, daughters Amanda and Katie to help open Future Shop in Kelowna.The Kelowna lifestyle was full of opportunity and was a great enviroment to bring up their children.When retail became an every increasing demand on their lives … Mike made a change to the financial services industry with Primerica Financial Services Kelowna.
Primerica was a obvious choice … they had been clients of the company for more than 4 years and really liked Primerica’s philosophy of Properly Protecting Families with Term Insurance, a commitment to optimize and eliminate Debt and Build savings with reputable mutual fund companies such as Invesco Trimark, Mackenzie Financial and AGF Mutual Funds.
Mike and his family are also involved in a number of community events … such as the Kelowna Apple Triathlon. The Kelowna Apple Triathlon is Cananda’s largest triathlon bring more that 1,000 athletes each year to compete and involving more than 600 volunteers each year. Mike has taken a position as Vice President. This years event promises to be another success.
Mike is also the Past President of Okanagan Business Referral Group that meets on Thursday mornings at the Kelowna Sandman Hotel. He his also an active blogger since 2007 writing on subjects relating to personal finance at mikehassard.blogspot.com.
Over the last 13 years Mike likes to think of his business as being focused on the improving the financial lives of Okanagan Families.
