GreenWave Construction was founded by David Federici, who has built a reputation in the last 25 years as an expert in construction management. He worked for many years as a registered builder in the province of British Columbia before branching out into retail and commercial construction.
In the late nineties David was asked to supervise many large building envelope renovations in the lower mainland, becoming an expert in the process of rain screen building technologies. David then moved on to managing day to day operations on projects as diverse as The Museum for the Jewish Historical Society, Greater Vancouver Animal Hospital, Bean Around the World coffee shop and many more. Running several jobs concurrently David also continued to manage custom home construction and large renovations.
All of this experience culminated in David being asked to manage the construction of the award winning Waterfront Project in West Kelowna. David successfully completed this project in 2009.
Now living in Kelowna David gives back to the industry that has served him so well by instructing for the Southern Interior Construction association as time allows. His red seal certification in carpentry has allowed him to help train other carpenters prepare for their trades exam.
David was also chosen to teach the very first Renew Energy Efficiency Program. The program was sponsored by Terasen Gas, BC Hydro and FortisBC. His involvement allowed David to educate the students on energy efficiency and how to implement sustainable technologies in the residential industry.
As the owner of GreenWave Construction, David is focusing on home renovations, commercial leasehold improvements and any other project were he can offer his guidance and management services.
